The JandR 29" Syrian 1 hose hookah has the strongest stem we've encountered so far. It it completely made from brass. This hookah has hand carvings and etchings throughout the entire stem. A nice feature on this one is the removable stem pieces which make this hookah highly portable for it's size. We didn't like the paint quality on the base but the build quality overshadowed this flaw. Overall this hookah smokes very good and has a good build quality.

very thorough. i liked it, cant wait to see more hookah review up there.
I have a 26" J&R Syrian Clear and Silver. I really like mine as well and the heart on mine is just like yours. I can not get a good purge from it either. The amount of water I need to put in the vase limits the smoke volume, but I can get the big stormy clouds too. It must be the way it is designed, obviously. I like the way you can break it down for better cleaning. These Syrians are great but need that extra special care to keep them clean and not oxidize. This review makes me want to use my Syrian again.
